Hello out there to all the Bloggers that have found my page. Around the city of Animal-Ville I am simply known as "The Turtle". In the city I am considered to be a very important person. I joined the rag-tag crew of animals in September of 2009, after the great fires destroyed the previous cardboard shanty town. My story of beginnings is rather boring, but since joining the city, I have grown into a very important role.
You see before I moved into the city, there was no fire department to handle emergency situations. I am a natural born lover of the water, and upon moving to the city, I met Mr. Harriman Bunny. Once there we coordinated a fire department to help deal with the needs of a growing city. I started out in a one man team, and quickly saw the need to expand. I began by hiring my brothers, and together we became Hose-Company #1.
Over the past two years the city has expanding greatly, and now as the needs have changed the city has 6 fire companies. Each with it's own full-time chief. I am still the acting fire chief of Hose-Company #1, and I now sit on the acting committee for fire prevention and safety. My brothers and I are now considered hero's to the city, but I don't think we did anything that special to help.
In addition to be being a fire-chief, and sitting on the committee for fire prevention and safety, I enjoy swimming, running, and hanging out with my family and friends. I also teach seminars on fire-safety and thoroughly enjoy helping the community. I usually run at least two benefit or charity based events a month, and if anyone has a good cause please inform me!
